Hi @gogaman911 and welcome to the community! It can vary depending on backlogs, etc. First time around I received my decision in just under 2 weeks. When it was time for my review, I received my decision 5/6 weeks later. Hope this helpsDisability Gamechanger - 2019

Hi @gogaman911 - Welcome to the community from me too. As the DWP have received your assessor's report, you can ring on the DWP PIP enquiry line 0800 121 4433 & ask for a copy of the assessor's report. This will give you a likely idea as to what points may be awarded. The DWP Decision Maker usually goes with your assessor's report, but you will still need to await your decision letter to confirm this.

It can take around six week for a decision, but as above you can phone and get a copy of the report (ask for a PA4) and that should give you a good idea of the award as the DM usually follows the HCP advice.

I applied for pip September 2019. 10 months ago. If I do get it?does it mean I will get 10 months pay? And how long after decision it takes for money to reach account? Hopefully I don't scare my luck away ??. But it's nice to have a little dream sometimes.

once youve had your assessment, the dwp will look at what your assessor has reported. if you are successful, hope you are , you will get backpay from the date you first applied, best wishes money paid into account within 2 weeks approx, mine was in acct in 8 days
