These webinars are suitable for disabled students, families and staff

In this webinar, Ben Watson, Accessible Information Adviser from the University of Kent will share his expertise on the range of free productivity tools, apps and resources which can enhance learning opportunities for students. Ben specialises in removing barriers to enable students to engage and take part in everyday activities. In education this involves reducing and overcoming the barriers that might occur in:
• Digital content
• Teaching and learning material
• Assessments.

I am also providing a separate webinar using (free) technology to make learning at university a bit easier. Suitable for prospective and current students of all ages and subjects. The software includes mindmapping; speech-to-text; text-to-speech; talking database and screen maskers and rulers. The technology is free and portal on a USB stick. This is an interactive workshop with time for Q&A at the end. This workshop is suitable for all students considering university and/or current university students.

Morning @melaniethorley! Not at all! I just moved it to the event section as that's the only part of the community we allow that type of post. :)
