Hi! I'm James, and I run our Scope Research Panel. I arrange research projects for disabled people and their families, and I'm hoping to speak to some people who are fluent in BSL for an exciting research project that we're doing on a new product.
The participants will have a chat to my Scope colleague Maria, who is our Customer Insights Researcher. She'll ask you a bit about your experiences of using BSL, your thoughts on using technology, and show you some design ideas for a new app that's based on BSL. The session should take less than an hour, and you can take part online or over the phone (so no need for any travel).
As a thank you for your time and effort, I can offer all participants a £30 eGift card which can be spent at places like Amazon, Tesco, Asda, and many more shops and websites. It won't affect any benefits that you might receive.
It should be a fun project to take part in, as well as a good way of helping Scope and improving the technology that's available for deaf people. If you're interested, or if you have any questions, email me at researchpanel@scope.org.uk. You can also comment on this discussion. If you aren't fluent in BSL yourself, but you know someone who is, feel free to pass this onto them - I'm keen to hear from all sorts of people. Thanks very much!
