A woman with cerebral palsy was left in tears after being publicly removed from a ride at Alton Towers.
"Adrenaline junkie" Hannah and her sister Becky Cheetham visited the resort on Monday to celebrate a birthday.
Ms Cheetham said the attitude of staff was "disgraceful" and not one person had spoken directly or apologised to her sister.
A petition started by the pair online calling for disability awareness training for public-facing staff members has more than 27,000 signatures.

That is awful I hope she gets the apology she deserves and the staff get some training

I am saddened to hear this though unfortunately not shocked as I have heard of and personally have experiences along the same lines . I really hope she receives an apology and completely agree with the idea that there needs to be more disability awareness training for staff working with the public. Thank you.

I think Alton towers staff need some serious training . I my self have made complaints to Alton towers in the past on how they treat disabled people.
they did make me aware of a pass you can get where you don’t have to que and you can go threw a special entrance I was told all rides have this .Before my mental illness took really bad I did go to Alton towers a few times . It’s sad to see they are still making these complaints .I ended up gong on a new ride called the wicker man what they didn’t mention was the pre show where your in a small room lights go off and huge noise which trigger a huge Flash back for me I was very shaken the staff were nice to me tho .I’m sorry for what this lady went threw , -
