My daughter got her EHCP in august and she started school in September and since that I didn’t get even 1call to tell or ask anything about her EHCP and I did contact them and they said someone will call me and it didn’t happen.Just want to ask that is it normal or should I take any action?

Hi and welcome sorry I cant answer your question but I am sure other members will be able to help
You may find some info in our parents and carers section -
Hi and welcome,Who were you expecting a call from? Sorry but it's not clear. If it's her school then i wouldn't expect them to ring you unless there's a problem.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

@zainabkamran hello and welcome to our online community
I've moved your post over to our education and learning discussion group so it's best placed for attention.
Was there something in particular you were expecting to hear about? It might be that the school practitioner was busy and it got overlooked, which isn't great I know, but I'd give them a call to chase it up.
In the future, if you feel the EHCP isn't being followed then Scope has an advice webpage that might be able to help. Also, ISPEA are a specialist educational rights charity who you can speak to about related issues on their helpline.
Please let us know how you get on and I hope your daughter has a good school year.Online Community Co-ordinator
