I saw the email about being forgotten, definitely feeling forgotten (not helped by a GP practice that has had pc's go down two weeks ago, impossible to even talk to receptionist let along GP). So wanted to see what solutions other people have to isolation. I had someone say it was a bit odd when I tried to explain I am isolated, so that didn't help lol.

Hello @deannatrois and a big warm welcome to our community.
Yikes it sounds like your GP is almost entirely inaccessible at the minute, I'm sorry about that. Were you trying to see them about feelings related to being isolated?
You aren't alone in feeling lonely. We have discussed the challenges of socialising post-lockdown on our community and many members are feeling exactly the same as you.
We are always here for a natter though so you don't have to feel alone. Have a look around our community and particularly our virtual coffee lounge where we have fun chat and games going on. We'd love to see more of you and support you through this so jump in
Have a lovely Friday night and speak soon!Online Community Co-ordinator

Hi and welcome being isolated must not be nice
Is there a specific reason you need to contact the gp
I am sure other members will be able to share experiences with you and think most just try to find hobbies and pastimes to keep them occupied

GP service doesn't seem to think they are doing anything wrong. I asked for the paper prescription they did because computers are down to be cancelled, I'd wait til electronic one could be sent to pharmacy as in a lot of pain right now. They blankly refused. I've tried to get support attending appts, contacted surgery, the LHA, they say there is nothing (find seeing a different GP, usually a locum who don't seem to know what they are doing very challenging, I am autistic). Asked for an email giving update on asthma to be sent to specialist respiratory nurse, as condition has worsened, ignored. It feels very unsafe having a GP surgery like this but I think its the same everywhere with not enough GP's so no point in moving.

I think there are lots of people having issues with gp at present . I know lots are still not seeing patients just doing telephone appointments
I know this isnt any consolation to you but hope you get something sorted -
