Hi @marvyb and welcome to the community, glad you've joined us
We have many visually impaired members, you might find some useful discussions over on our visual impairment category and likewise on our employment and careers category. Or feel free to create a discussion on those sections if there isn't much relevant to you already there.
I'm visually impaired myself, and I understand how you must feel, the world of employment can be a very tricky one to navigate, but I'm certain you will have skills and knowledge that you would be able to offer many employers.
Scope have a Support to Work programme which might be something that takes your interest, I'd certainly recommend having a read about it.
If you need any help navigating the community or if anything doesn't make sense, always feel free to ask, and again I wish you a very warm welcome to the communityOnline Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

HI @marvyb - & welcome to the community, Marvalyn. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience in seeking work. As Ross has suggested, do try Scope's .Support to Work' programme, as people have said it's very helpful. Do also have a look around the forum, & join in with the discussions. I hope to see you around.

Far from it @marvyb
This is a very supportive and helpful community. I hope to see you getting involved in discussions going forward and hopefully our wonderful members can help with your situation.
The coffee lounge is always a great place to go if you fancy a chat about fun, light hearted topics. At the moment, we have discussions going on about everything from chocolate and music, to squirrels and football.

Hi @marvyb
Hope you're well today
Many of our members are visually impaired and I'm sure quite a few of them will have, or will have had, work. If you'd like I could move your question over to our employment and careers section so that it will hopefully get more responses?Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing?
