I'm a volunteer for a camp for adults with disabilities that runs during the Summer each year at Woodlarks Campsite in Farnham. This year we're running a camp from the 24th - 31st August.
We cater for campers with a variety of disabilities, and with varying degrees of ability. We're planning a trip to Alice Holt forest for a bike ride on adapted bikes, a trip out for pub lunch, karaoke, archery and many more activities!
All our helpers are volunteers and we welcome volunteers who themselves have a disability.
Everyone camps outside where possible, but we do have dormitory space for those needing to sleep indoors.
The camp fees this year are around

I think it's a great idea to give kids an experience of being on their own in a structured, supportive, supervised environment..I'm impressed with this post..!!
