I am wondering how many people use access information sites before going to new places, and if people think there is enough useful information out there already to allow wheelchair users and their friends and family to gather information aboUt a venue which is useful before visiting it for the 1st time.
Is there a access information site that does this, is there need for a site of this sort, who many active wheelchair users would use an access information site? and what sort of information would they like to see. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Ian Harris

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your question. There is a website which provides this type of information and it's called www.disabledgo.com They provide very detailed access reports for thousands of venues across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Have a look and see what you think!
Best wishes

Hi Ian
Have you heard of BBS Blue badge style? They are working on venues to purchase a PAD (Pictorial access Descriptions) app. which shows access & facilities for less able, for hotels, bars & restaurants. I am not sure how many venues have this app yet, but might be worth looking at their website.Hope this is a bit helpful.
Best wishes
