We are looking for volunteers from 12-19 years of age, with cerebral palsy to take part in a 10 week exercise programme. This study looks at the effects of strengthening your leg muscles. Volunteers must also be able to walk, with or without a walking aid. This programme will take place in a gym near you.
If you are interested in finding out more please contact a member of the STAR team by text/phone on 07854066001, e-mail Starstudy@brunel.ac.uk or visit http://www.thestartrial.org

This research is supported and conducted by researchers and physiotherapists from Brunel University London and the NHS, and has been approved by a NHS ethics committee.

Whilst Scope is in favour of ethical clinical Studies and Trials, we would strongly advise anyone in the relevant age group who is interested in taking part in the programme to ensure you have the permission of a parent and that your doctor, hospital consultant and/or medical team is also in agreement with you applying to be part of this research.
