Are you a lover or a hater of New Years Eve?

What are your plans this year? Myself, my husband and kids always go to our friend's house for dinner and party games and we will be doing the same this year.

What are you up to? Do you have New Years Eve traditions?

Hi @Sam_Scope I always feel New Years Eve can get overly hyped up!
I've struggled with my health the last few months so I'm going to be kind to myself this New Years and have a very nice relaxed evening in with my boyfriend and maybe order a takeaway and watch a film!

@Helsbels41 we go to our friend's because she understands my illness and it means if I have to go in pyjamas and snooze on her sofa, she understands and it means the rest of my family get out.

Staying in is not sad at all!

I'll be brutally honest. Most of the time we either just don't go or my husband takes our 12 year old son who doesn't have any issues and they take part in what ever it may be.

That sounds really tough to deal with as a family.

Yeah it can be. I spend a lot of time feeling guilty as hell that my middle child gets to spend little or no time with me on a regular basis . But ... It is what it is & we middle along like everyone else . We do OK
