I joined the site after reading a guest blog posted by a lady with an Aspergers Diagnosis in her late forties. My husband, Steve, was diagnosed in 2006, aged 57 (high up on the spectrum.) I am now Steve's official Carer. We have been married 37 years next year - we have been through a lot of things on our Aspergers/Carers journey and live our lives very openly about our relationship. If anyone has questions they would like to ask, we'll try to answer them honestly and respectfully (from our perspective.) for example, the most recent thing we have had to live through is the loss of Steve's dad at age 91 and Steve's manifestation of grief.
