Hi @weerob55 welcome to the community, there is lots of information here about assistive equipment here, it says to speak to your GP as the first port of call.
Would your daughter be able to help you with filling in forms?Scope

Where do I stand legally if the housing refuse to adapt my home on the grounds that it's too big for me? They told me to move but it's not that easy

Hi @Cazz21 and welcome to the community.
You can find additional information on your rights at https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/housing/discrimination-in-housing/what-are-the-different-types-of-discrimination-in-housing/discrimination-in-housing-adaptations-to-your-home/
As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.
As part of a community I helped to create change!
