Hi everyone,
I have been advised by my doctor to either ring or call into my local MIND to ask for counselling, but every time I get the courage to do either my confidence and courage go out of the nearest window so to speak and I end up doing neither.
I know I need counseling, but I have problems with my confidence and courage.

Hi @Sophiesmum2002 It can be really tough to reach out, but know that you arent alone.
Do you have anyone close to you who could help you take the first step? Can they sit with you and help you call?Scope

Hi @Sophiesmum2002 it can be very daunting and the reason many people don't benefit from counselling is because they don't or can't open up.
However if you can and you are 100% honest, then you will see a massive difference. I spent too many years trying to fool myself and others but once I took the plunge, contacted those that could help and told them everything and I mean everything, I then felt so much better and able to deal with the issues. -
