1 Voice and 1 Voice jr is for those who have a communication issue, and for those are parents or relatives or people who help to help/support adults or children with communication issues I feel the best people to share advice on communication issues who have to live through the same issues every day but still accept the advice from the professionals too. A communication issue don't just mean an issue with talking i.e., Speaking, Reading, Writing, Process, Understanding, Emotions. You can have a communication issue from a variety situations ie. Learning difficulties, Learning disabilities, Visually impaired, Hearing problems, Health issues like, strokes, cancer, fits, accidents etc Also you find it hard to communication with mental health issues. Many people will have more than 1 communication issue and use a communication system which suits them the best. Here are a few example of communication when you have a communication issues, Speech (from full speech to just sound), Sign language (Makaton, BSL British sign language, Paget Gorman, Deaf/blind finger spelling). Lot of countries have their own version of BSL i.e. ASL is America sign language and Auslan is the Australia sign language Braille/large print, writing/print on different colours of paper, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is the term used to describe various methods of communication that can 'add-on' to speech and are used to get around problems with ordinary speech), TTS (text to speech), Body language, Gesturing (eye contact, lip reading, arms or legs cross, moving you arm/hands when talking, hugging and many other things), Writing/typed (instead using speech, poems, writing a book, chatting on social media etc), Listening/playing music, dancing, acting, performing arts, art/crafts and many others. Assistance dogs can also help with communication issues My dreams for 1 Voice and 1 Voice jr, to have a fully website where we can reach out to many other people with communication issues, and to educate others how to communicate to everyone. Also I hope that organization/charities work together so equipment for communicating issues will be more affordable. I would like a charity/organization to back us to achieve this. 1 Voice ad 1 Voice jr want to show the world how to communicate to everyone. https://www.facebook.com/page/vision.of.the.heart/
