Hi @conz44 welcome to the community. You may get a top-up (called a premium) on the following benefits if you get PIP:
- Housing Benefit.
- Jobseeker's Allowance.
- Income Support.
- Working Tax Credit.
- Employment and Support Allowance - but only if you get the PIP daily living component.
- Pension Credit - but only if you get the PIP daily living component.

I used to receive it with my DLA not sure if severe disability premium is back dated. I think it my only be back dated for 3 months.
Thanks for the info though it's much appreciated x

No, it's backdated till the time you became eligilble, regardless of time.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Well if I succeed and i truely can't see how a condition that is on the national disability database can be dismissed by the government body for disabilities. It doesnt make sense does it...... But uf i do succeed the owe me a hell of a lot of money!
