Hello tiantillysmummy and welcome
As far as mobility is concerned it us about how far you can walk , safely, repeatedly, and to a n acceptable standard.
In the first instance try the self test on the B&W site

Yes, my only advice would be when they ask 'can you walk this far?' it mean can you do it without pain, repeat, easily etc.
So, have you gone through assessment? Or appealed?
Respectfully, it sounds like your mobility is really hard and that you need and deserve that extra PIP. I had similar and reapplied and got it.
Let us know how it's going? Meanwhile, really sorry it's so stressful -
