Scope focus groups: your experience of being a consumer
Share your experiences as a disabled consumer
Scope is carrying out research to find out more about disabled people’s experiences as consumers.
We know disabled people are all too often under-served as consumers. For instance, three quarters of disabled people have left a shop or business because of poor disability awareness or understanding.
Scope is holding a series of focus groups. We are keen to speak to you about your experiences as a consumer. In particular, we would like to know about your experiences of purchasing energy and insurance.
The findings from these focus groups will support Scope’s work to influence government and business to improve disabled people’s experiences as consumers.
We are recruiting people who:
- Are aged 16+
- Live in England or Wales.
The focus groups will last for approximately two and a half hours, on the following dates:
· London (N7) – 15 November
If you would like to take part in this project but can’t make it along to a focus group, please e-mail max.bell@scope.org.uk. We have a number of alternative options for people to participate which we would happily discuss.
Participants will receive a £10 gift voucher for their time. We will also cover reasonable travel expenses.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in taking part, or if would like more information, please contact Scope’s Campaign Officer Max Bell on max.bell@scope.org.uk or 020 7619 7375.
