Hi, I applied for carers allowance at the end of July 2017. In August I was asked to send in additional documents to support my claim. All sent recorded and received at the claims department. I have emailed due to being unable to call due to costs of phonecalls and no one has replied yet. Any help grateful. Thanks

Hu Katy and welcome
The carers department seems tobe suffering backlogs at the moment, but that does seem a long wait.
Have you tried ringing first thing in the morning to avoid being put on hold ?
Can you get the CAB to ring on your behalf ?

Yes, going to try them in the morning. Never thought about CAB, will see how I go then I will speak to them. Thanks for that much appreciated.
