I currently receive Carers Allowance for looking after my 6 year son but as an older father approaching 65 I believe I will lose this benefit. Is it possible for me to transfer this to my wife who is almost 40 as we share carers responsibilities?

provided that your wife meets the criteria then she should submit a claim when the time comes

I was hoping it might be a simple transfer but life isn't that simple, lol
