I am a carer for my elderly mum and also received Income support and housing benefit. My income support was suspended in dec whilst they made a decision on a form i had completed regarding a property that i previously lived in with my ex husband.I moved out in 2012, i pay nothing towards the mortgage, bills etc.My income support was restarted at the beginning of January. However last week they have stopped my IS and HB stating i have assets of £16000. Grateful for advice.Thankyou

Hi @unicorn21
Welcome to the community and Im sorry to hear about your struggles.
Have you looked into appealing this decision? You have a month to put in a Mandatory Reconsideration with them and there is lots of information about this on the CAB website.Scope
