Hello Elaine @jayde9 and a warm welcome to the community. Very glad to have you with us.
It is so very hard, sometimes, isn't it? Here, at least, you will find people who understand that and people who will be glad to be friends and to offer whatever they can in terms of support.
To begin with, you might like to have a look at the 'Talk about ASD' forum here https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/learning-disabilities-and-autism and the Ask an ASD Advisor forum here https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/ask-an-asd-advisor . You can see what others are talking about and perhaps, when you're ready, join in. The Parents and carers forum here https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/carers-of-disabled-children-and-adults might also be of interest to you.
Could you perhaps tell us a little more about the difficulties you face? It might help us to find the appropriate help. And in the meantime, bear with us. Others who will relate to your post will be stopping by to say hello
Warmest best wishes to you and to Jayden,
Richard

Hi @jayde9
There is some information here about how to go about getting respite that might help you.
It suggests you ask your council for a Carers Assessment, have you done this? The assessment is free and your local council will use it to decide what support to give you.
Don't be put off by the word 'assessment'. It is not a test about how good you are at caring. It is to work out what can be done to make life easier for you. No one will judge you.
The assessment is usually a face to face meeting with someone from your local council, or from another organisation on behalf of your local council.
In some areas other organisations may carry out the assessment for the local council but you should still contact your local council to ask for one.
Find your local council on Gov.uk and get in touch with them to find out more.Scope
