I’m wondering how long I should wait before contacting ESA regarding a form I completed to inform them I have either my son or a friend stating over at my house to help with my care.
I sent it back signed for and it was received the 17th April.
They have already stopped the SDP I was receiving until the form was received and looked at.
I know it’s only been a week or so but not sure what happens next or what I need to do.
Thank you

Hi
I would call them and explain the issues you face with them stopping your money and you would like to know how long before you should expect a response to your claim.

@hartill77, thanks I will give it another day or so

If you call them and know when there deadline is you know how long you need to wait to call/complain then. Some places have 4 weeks to get back to you.
Hope they get back to you quickly.

Bit confused they have discontinued your sdp. Surely this is given if you qualify for pip care? Do you still get pip standard / enhanced care.Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going.

@whistles, Iv lost it as have people staying to help me.
they could claim careers allowance but earn too much.
i need DWP to look at the form I sent in to see if I get SDP back -
I get enhanced rate daily care

I was being honest @mikehughescq, if I hadn’t then it could have been a matter of fraud.
I have filled the form in and only wanted to know when to contact them re looking at the form and if they will contact me.
Bacically how long to wait before contacting them
