I have recently completed a course to be a live in care worker. After three months with the agency I shall get my care certification. They focus largely on the care of the elderly. My interest is live in care work with an adult with a disability.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how or where to find information to do so?
I want to be able to help another live the life they want to live. I am still learning however!

@T1gger I had to hire PAs for my son a few years ago. I searched for them through his special needs school. Also a company called Penderels Trust can source PAs.
Maybe get in contact with the branch of Social Services best to you as they handle direct payments for many disabled people these days and could advise you of what’s the best route to take?
Just an idea. Hope that helps x -
Sorry, that should say ‘nearest to you’
