my son is 21 has two male carers and one female Carer as he has got older he now told us he just wants male carers Become more difficult as wont wee etc when she is here
Told I can get done for sex discrimination if we don’t use her anymore Surely he has the right choose who cares for him

There is an exemption for such circumstances so don't be concerned.

Formerly I was a carer and I agree with you. As a female I would feel better that any client choose their carers dependent on their wishes and also I think I would feel more vulnerable supporting male clients with personal care. That works both ways

I am sure she will understand if you explain the situation nicely to her. After all she is a carer.
