I took full equity release. There wasn’t a lot of money so I spent some and put the rest into investment. It’s gone down and down as I get older and more disabled. I don’t claim anything regarding my disabilities...spinal stenosis, osteoporosis, deafness, inability to walk more than a few steps, diabetic, and a few other minor disabilities. I think I’m over the amount you are allowed before you can apply for any sort of benefit, and so far I’ve bought. Chair, power chair, scooter, changed my bathroom to shower, and I’m 85. Does anyone know if there are any benefits I could get that would allow me to have someone in to do some housework and pay for a few jobs around the house, like painting, etc,etc
