Hi,Your income has nothing to do with their ESA claim and won't affect it in anyway. If they claim housing benefit then non dependent deductions will apply, unless they claim a disability benefit like PIP or DLA.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Would the amount that I pay towards the non dependent deductions for rent, the council tax I pay, the water bill or the food shopping bill for us all be classed as their income. Or is it not counted as I do not give them the money directly but I pay the separate companies.

If you receive benefits then it's not income, it's benefits. Paying bills and shopping isn't income either.Income a non dependent receives is what they would be paid from working their self. This won't be counted when claiming Income related ESA/JSA, Income support or Universal credit.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
