Hi @trace69
There is a PIP self test here that might be helpful for you to fill in to see if you could be entitled to PIP.Scope

Hello and welcome, have you done the PIP self tes?? When you do be honest with yourself as the answers you put in the application form will have to be justified at your acessment, PIP is not about your illnesses or disability but how you manage cope and how your day to day activities are impacted on in relationship to the PIP descriptors, can you do manage them repeatedly, safely and in a timely manner.

Thank-you

Hi,Based on a diagnosis no you won't be. This is because it's how your conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thanks I can't walk very far and do household chores etc due to my breathing problems

Household chores are not part of the PIP descriptors and not being to do these won't help a PIP claim. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdf
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
