Are the average length of pip claims realistic?

I put in a Pip claim for my partner about 7 weeks. Ago, we've had a letter 3 weeks go saying the details from the form have been passed on to Capita. So if the average is 14 weeks she should be having an assesment in March? Or is it so varied impossible to guage?

Were in no massive rush we've got plenty of support from nurses and carers. It's just I wanted to treat her and our daughter to a week away from everything. She's recently been diagnosed with a life changing disease and we haven't had a break since our daughter was born last year. Been couped up at home isn't helping.

Thank you

Just an update, just followed up with Capita on progress. They had already booked an appointment for end of the month but hadn't sent out letter confirming. So if you're in the Ceredigion area it looks like it's about 9 weeks to appointment.

And it's worth calling to confirm, because it's far better to have the time to get prepared, then wait till a week before appointment.
