Advice on Lower back degenerative disc disease

Hi all just found this site and looking for some advice on Lower back degenerative disc disease I've had it for around 6 years now been to gp had x rays etc phisio chiropractor etc but to no avail gp just keeps perscribing naproxen which works but I don't want to be taking them long term I'm looking for a safer alternative

No the gp didn't seem bothered when I asked about alternatives a few months ago

My husband has a degenerative back since 2017 an operation wasn't successful cage put inabd bolts and screws. A follow appointment has been cancelled a few times and rebooked for March 24.
