Tough few days because no fit note

Its been bank Holiday so the GP couldn't do my fit note/medical certificate (whatever you want to call it) for ESA and I have no money for past 2 days only a bit of food left and I have no family or friends only my dad who is poor himself (factory labourer past 43 years) and no overdraft as they wont give me one even though my credit is okay now so that's a joke as I know other people who have one who have thousands of pounds of debt etc. I am hoping to get a note tomorrow and take a photo and send quick to dwp and they will do same day payment but can i complain if they dont do it tomorrow as I am vulnerable and have no funds available from any source or anyone to help me and have no friends due to my autism.

Hi,There's no reasons why they wouldn't do a same day fast payment as they have done this for many other people but it won't be done until you send the fit note. Fingers crossed your GP writes you another and does it correctly this time. Good luck.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @kami24, I'm sorry about this. Did you managed to get this resolved?

No.the reception said tomorrow as its bank holiday. My dad has bought me a bit of food but he is only a factory labourer (past 46 year), so shouldn't have to

Hi @kami24, if it's not sorted today or they can't do a fast-payment, it might be worth you contacting your local job centre, council, or CAB and asking for a food bank referral to tide you over, is this something you'd consider?
Fingers crossed it is all resolved today though, keep us updated!Community Manager
