can I ask 28 holiday abroad does it count from day u travel out an Day u return to uk

Hi,I can't find anything specific i'm afraid, all i can find is it's 4 weeks https://www.gov.uk/claim-benefits-abroad
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
In paragraphs 12 to 14 of R(S) 1/66 it was held that a person is only absent from Great Britain on days when they are absent from midnight to midnight. It follows that the day when you leave GB and the day when you return to GB do not count towards the 28 day limit.
