Just to let everyone no my brothers PIP paper based assessment was a success!!! care he got enhanced rate and lower for mobility. so just shows you there is some hope. he went to a special needs school. got picked up by a mini bus ..... had ADHD , dyslexia, and anger issues with severe paranoia. we sent his ( old paper work off from his special needs school letters , medication for AHDH, dyslexia reports aha various other stuff which I won’t bore you into. so there is light at the end of the tunnel. so who ever says the old school reports are not enough they are as they accepted his. along with ( new recent reports ect ect .... he’s got given another 5 years, thanks everyone! It was his award review “

Glad he got the award he hoped for well done ☺

@Firefly123 thank you. the decision maker / HCP said because he was in a special needs school and has evidence of this as well as his reading and writing as well as other factors he got it.

Hi @sarahmsccs yes that's good then as the older they get the less involvement they have with specialists ☺ I've got 3 young adults with autism and other complex needs.
-
@Firefly123 they gave it him straight away. as with his needs now he can’t get to see anyone as he’s older. but that school report of him being in a special needs unit has helped!

Thats great news, the perceived wisdom in the majority of cases is that reports over two years old are no good, but as I said that just the majority of cases not all, every case is different.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

@woodbine he was in a special needs unit. and needed someone to sit next to him in every lesson ..... they HCP and decision maker accepted the paperwork as he’s still in the same position. so just shows you even though your a adult they still accept them. obviously with other evidence. he’s got 5 years so he is happy.
