Hi everyone!!!
Hoping to find some help and support on the forum and be able to help others.
I'm a 33 year old male and in 2017 I was diagnosed with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis.
My Doctor has me on Zomorph 12H release tablets which I have to take 2 in the morning and 2 at night.
Sadly I am unable to work anymore due to the intense amount of pain that flares up, I've managed it at home with a lot of planning to try and get some house work done and rest a lot in-between.
Some days I am unable to get out of bed due to the pain.
At the moment we are relaying solely on my partners wage which can be a bit of a struggle at the best of time.
Hoping to get some advice on what I can apply for as I have very little knowledge about the benefits system.
Thank you everyone

Hi @Luchia
Good Evening & Welcome to our online community/family.
I am one of a team of Community Champion’s here at Scope.
Yes I have got Chronic Pain 24/7 as have a number of members on here.

To date most things outside of the house have come to a close unfortunately.
We have got a “Benefit Calculator” that will be able to let you know what benefits are available for you.

Hi @Luchia and welcome to the community.
It sounds like you're going through a really rough patch at the moment. We'll be happy to offer advice about any benefit queries you have, so I'll make sure to keep an eye out in case there's anything I can help with. In the meantime, please take a look around and give us a shout if there's anything we can do to help.Community Manager

Hi @Luchia - I'd just like to add my 'welcome' to this friendly & supportive community. I'm sorry to read you are in so much pain due to your health problems, & that you can no longer work. Have you looked into PIP (Personal Independence Payment) as somewhere to start? The benefits system can be confusing, but the Scope team, as well as others, are here to help with any queries. Please just say, as we are all here to support you along the way.
