Hello @sarz68!
What type of cleaning service do you want? It is always a good idea to check out some reviews in advance so that you feel totally confident with whoever you decide to hire in the end. And of course a current DBS check at a appropriate level is recommended too just in case. Prepare a short list of questions to ask as well. Obtain at least two references to check and also request a copy of any insurance policy document. Discuss prices with applicants and be realistic when agreeing to a fee. Draw up a contract for employment and periodically review it. Set out the details of any job in the document and also install a camera for her safety. Get contact details.
There are many established and excellent cleaning companies out there. All you have to do is to take a careful look at their website to find out more important information beforehand, then either email or call. Learn as much as possible. Make some brief summary notes on the kind of services that are offered to customers. If there is a chat function which is provided free of charge on their site, please do not hesitate to use it. Pay close attention to your gut feeling however. Be aware of the applicant’s background in terms of their past criminal activity. This is particularly important.
Carry out a trial run first. That way you will hopefully feel better about having to hire someone else. Keep all your valuable items hidden away in a safe or locked drawer. This includes wallets that contain money and passports. https://www.theorganizeruk.com/2018/05/how-to-find-a-cleaning-lady-you-can-trust/.
Good luck and best wishes to you! I hope that you can find someone who you can trust fully. -
Thanks, I will check it out

Hi @sarz68, does your daughter have any other care needs? If so then she might be able to hire someone to help her with a range of things, including cleaning.
To look into this, you would have to request a needs assessment. I hope this helps.Scope -
Hi and welcome, does your daughter live in a different property to you / as suggested it may help if she is referred fpr care needs assessment. This can be a self referral done through the gov website. An Oh will come and assess her needs and make any recommendations for care, equipment.
If she claims PIP then this is part of what the payment is made to assist with additional care needs cost like a cleaner,
