Hello I'm 47 new to the group need advice on grants available for landscaping my garden after my council refused to help because I had started the work myself.

Hi @7sector - Welcome to the community, tho I'm sorry to say I don't have an answer to your query. It might also be difficult to get someone to do the work for you right now due to Covid-19, & if you need anything from a builder's merchant.

A lot of councils usually have some sort of help available seems like a poor excuse not to help, perhaps when all this has settled down you could approach them again?

Hi chloe and woodbine I'm not to bad thank you. _I did reapply to council and the answer was no different. Totally disgusted those who ask for constant help get everything handed to them but as I never do I'm denied it. It was suggested to set up a go fund me but I can't even do that due to court protection purposes because of my ex so I'm just going to have to continue fighting. Hope everyone else well

Hi @7sector, sorry you haven't been able to find support for this. The Gardening for Disabled Trust do offer grants. However, this isn't for general garden maintenance.
