Hi I read online that disability benefit assessment awards are being extended for another six months. Does this include ESA or just Pip and DLA. There is not much clarity. Thanks.

Hello @Silver925. Even though they sometimes suggest a date, ESA support group is usually an on-going award until you are reassessed and a new decision has been made.Community Manager

Hi @Silver925 Im not sure if it relates to all disability benefits but I would have thought it means DLA/PIP , As above ESA support grouo will continue till re-assessed so there is no requirement to extend

Hi thanks for replying. I just was thinking about face to face assessments with the safety aspect of going to an assessment. I didn't know if they had restarted them again. I read today that all face to face assessments are still suspended. It said for all disability and sickness benefits. It was in an article about work search commitments restarting this week.
