I am exempt from wearing a mask and when i go out i wear a badge, but i feel very self conscious about it because people stare at me , and some of my friends have told me when they have been out shopping they have been pulled up by other customers for not wearing masks. In all shops and hair salons they have signs on doors saying no entry without masks, but I think they should also say except people who are exempt , Has anyone else had any issues with this.

Hi @Rebs. I'm sorry that you're made to feel self-conscious when you're out and about. Unfortunately, this is something that many of our other members have experienced too. Such as this user who got pulled up in McDonalds and this user who has been spoken to badly for being exempt. Chloe wrote a post on face mask exemption, which also sparked some conversation.
I think I have seen a couple of signs that do add on the bit about some people being exempt, but I agree that these should be more common.
