Hi @Eliza195 - & welcome to the community. There's Personal Independence Payment (PIP) but this looks at how your disability affects certain activities of daily living &/mobility, so it's not dependent on a diagnosis. Perhaps you could look through the following link, which shows the activities/descriptors that are looked at, & where points may be awarded. Please see: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Scores-for-PIP-Descriptors-2020.pdf
Scope also has an explanation of this & other benefits: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/benefits/
Hope this helps, & do say if you have any questions. -
Hello @Eliza195 and welcome to the community, glad you've joined us
Every person's entitlement to benefits is different and it can depend on many more factors than just a diagnosis, you might find this page about benefits from Action On Hearing Loss helpful.
Scope also have a benefits checker which can help to work out entitlement.
We also have a category here on the community to discuss hearing and visual impairments, so I would recommend having a look there tooOnline Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

HI,Unless you're already claiming DLA then look at PIP as advised above. Whether you're entitled to any other benefits will totally depend on your circumstances and with no information it's impossible to advise. Being deaf doesn't automatically entitle you to any benefits.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
