I always wanted to be a teacher when I was a child because my mum was a child minder and she would teach children things at home and I used to help but as I got older I changed my mind.

It’s funny how you change your mind isn’t it?I wanted to be a “space man” i.e. an astronaut
After that I wanted to be a pilot
Now I’ve calmed it down a bit and would settle for a career in accountancy... -
I always wanted to be a journalist, but life got in the way, so I ended up being a "keyboard warrior"2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

I remember my first job interview I cane out and thought I want to be in the place of the HR Manager doing the interview . Thus is the path I took after working my way up and doing my degree part time I had 30 years in the same company and 20 plus of those in HR Management -
When I was about 4, in 1980, I was mad on Trumpton (remember that?) and wanted to be a Fireman (well they never did attend any actual Fires lol) plus the local Fire Station was literally across the road back then from Home.

@MrAllen1976 my late dad was a fireman for 30 years
Very hard job but one he loved with a passion . He often took us as kids and we dressed up in his uniform . They also used to do school trips there and I was so proud to be his daughter
The firemen all look out for each other and their families and even tho he had been retired a while they did a guard of honour at his funeral
