Hi, I'm Ben. I've been working in disability inclusion for the last 9 years and am greatly passionate about accessibility issues. As well as the ethical justification for disability inclusion I think we should promote accessibility to wider society by emphasising the business potential of disabled people as consumers/customers.
This is one of the main reasons I'm setting up a travel website called UMOJA (www.umoja.in), which connects disabled people and their families to accessible hotel rooms, emphasising the hugely untapped market potential of accessible travel (£85 billion globally). We really want to get the message out about the work that we're doing and would like to get ideas from the Scope community!
