Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone as the same problem as me. I have cerebral vasculitis which has left me having three strokes and epilepsy. My extended family have been so unsupportive especially my brothers. The problem is I look ok and they think I must be ok, they haven't come outright and said I am making it up, but I am sure that is what they think. I am so lost as I keep explaining it to them. I just don't know what to do anymore. Thank you for listening x

Hi @Margaret,
Thanks for sharing. Your comment about looking ok - so people think you're ok - reminded me of @LucyB's fantastic post last year about having to perform her disability: https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/27541/guest-post-im-fed-up-of-having-to-perform-my-disability
It must be really hard for you that your brothers don't understand - I wish I had an easy answer to that one! I guess it's just really important to keep talking with them. Are there other people in your life who are able to give you the support you need?
