Hi I just completed the forum online same as the one they post out to you,
I just wondered what the time frame is normally and also they said they "might" need to see me face to face to asses me, Is this a guarantee does everyone who fill the forms out have to go to another assessment or does it vary, What are the chances of this, also Would I be able to share my application and answers on here just to see if I did it right and what you guys thing my chances are,
Thank you!

Most people have assessments which are mostly by telephone. Some are face to face. Paper based assessments are possible but rare.Timescales, potentially up to about 4 or 5 months. Applications done online are often quicker than the paper form.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @Achyshakeypains, welcome to the community Most assessments are now by phone but there are some face to face assessments too. If you get a specific one, say face to face, but would rather telephone you can ring them up and change it. Though I believe that counts as your single chance to re-schedule the assessment so do be sure you can make the rescheduled appointment!
You can share some of the details of your application here if you wish, just be mindful not to include personal information.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

PIP isn't about illnesses or conditions that you have but the care and/or mobility issues v the descriptors, points for descriptors in link below:

You may struggle in some areas due to lack of information. It's very unlikely you will score points for taking nutrition (eating and drinking) because not eating fruit and veg is not considered in this activity.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. You can't cancel a claim once you start it. I also didn't say you weren't entitled, what I said was you "may" struggle in some areas due to lack of information.
I can't tell you whether you're entitled to it because I don't know exactly how your conditions affect you. I have fibro myself as well as other conditions and I claim PIP. However, as it's not awarded based on any diagnosis, you can't compare yourself to someone else.
You have nothing to lose by applying and the worst that can happen is you're refused but that may not happen. If it does happen and you think you can score enough of points needed for an award then you can challenge the decision.
In the meantime, it would be worth having a read of this as it will help to understand the descriptors more. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria#daily-living-activities
