Its
Ok to be
Scared
It’s ok to be scared he said to me,
Just after telling me I’d got AD,
That’s ok for you to say,
Don`t you know you’ve just ruined my day?
Sitting there without a care,
Looking over your glasses in you big plush chair
What happens now, do I pray?
Or just carry on from day to day,
As if nothing’s wrong? That should be fun,
When you`ve just said my life is done,
What do you mean there is no cure?
Of that are you absolutely sure?
Well I for one do not believe,
That these symptoms you can’t relieve
So I will go now and try my best
To be the winner of my new Quest!!
There is always hope, best wishes, Norrms and family
i was also once a little angry ...........................

Hi @norrms, I like your poem.
It is really poetic too. I wrote few poems as well. May share here one day. As most of mine are in my native language. I think I have 3 in English so far. Anyway, I read psychological article few years ago (after going true incredible pain in my life and unpleasant experience better to forget about) that due to r traumatic experience in life , your brain is undergoing a switch between right and left sides. If you were more scientific person in deep intreats what, why, how and where you become more artistic soul.
I then analyse my approaches before my health problems and after the medical condition tried to take control over. I come to the conclusion it is true. All my life I was such a scientific person getting to know how everything is functioning but that I drop my interest and become more creative. It is incredible how our lives change after experience related to medical conditions/ disability.
I always say my life turn up side down.
Have a nice weekend.
