I am 57 years old and I have a few disabilities namely diabetes, asthma, lower back pain which leads to a trapped nerve and ulcerative colitis. I am currently on the sick due to lower back pain and stress. I have had s meeting with work who have sent me to an occupation health consultant who I have just been to see and he encouraged me to go back to work in the next few weeks and has done a report saying the same. I don't particularly want to return to this job and I wondered would i
be able to claim any benefits i.e. I already receive PIP but wondered if I could also claim EDA as well.

Hi Pauline,
I've just spotted your post. So sorry you didn't receive a response.
How is everything going?
It certainly sounds like you might be eligible for ESA. Full details here: https://www.gov.uk/employment-support-allowance/eligibility
I'd recommend doing a benefit check:

Thanks,
Alex
