Hi
I am currently on ESA Work group which was changed from support group I asked for a mandatory reconsideration which they refused.
Thing is I have just been awarded pip at the enhanced rate via tribunal so do I need to inform ESA of this??

Hi Ange1209,
If you are on income-related ESA then yes, it's important to keep them informed that you have PIP at the enhanced rate. It will give you extra income-related ESA even though you are not in the support group.
It doesn't change the ESA decision though, so you should still consider whether you want to go to an appeal about this. The PIP decision unfortunately doesn't make any different to which ESA group you are in. On the other hand evidence which you used at the PIP tribunal may also be helpful to show that you meet the support group conditions. The benefits are not the same but sometimes you can use the same medical evidence because it shows your limited capability for work-related activity as well as problems you have with mobility and/or daily living activities.
