If you can remember the title of the thread, or someone who posted in it you are looking for you could use the search function.
If you know which forum it was posted in go the relevant forum, scroll to the bottom of the messages and and you will see two arrows < and > press the > to go to the next page, and older posts. repeat until you find the post you are looking for.
