I need help with housing benefit and council tax - does anyone know if we qualify?

i am on contribution based esa support group and pip standard rate and need help with housing benefit and council tax my wife works full time an we have two children, we have been to the council today and they say we do not qualify with help but are sending the appication to th housing departmentt to check it does anyone know if we do qualify we did a entitled to benefit check and its say that we do qualify

Hi gareth37,
Housing Benefit is a means-tested benefit so entitlement depends on your income. I cannot do a benefit calculation without knowing how much benefits you receive or how much your wife earns, but there are online calculators which can help. You could always just submit the claim and see what the outcome is. Good luck!
