Thankyou now you need to ask them to look at the claim again (MR)stating what parts of the claim you want them to look at again
-
Do i have to ring them ask for a form

My mum had a lovely assessor i know that they all seem to be nice and then people are shocked when they see the report.
-
I think you ring them , someone else may advice you on this better than me on here...Good Luck

You have 28 days from the date of the award letter to get your mandatory reconsideration (MR) request in. You can phone them first if you like but you will need to put your mandatory reconsideration request in writing. There is no form - you write a letter. There is a mandatory reconsideration (MR) letter tool which will generate a letter for you.

Also, phone DWP and ask for a copy of the assessor's report. This will help you to state in your MR letter where the assessment was incorrect.
You might be able to get f2f help locally, CAB or similar. Scope Helpline might be able to tell you about local advice organisations. -
Hi @millierosies1972, I hope the above information is helpful. Do keep us updated and let us know if you have any further questions about the process. There's also some great information on appealing a DWP decision on Scope's website, that you may like to read.
